New Tampa Bay Film Site Online
The new Tampa Bay
Film site, built from scratch and enhanced with the latest technology,
is now online under its new Tampa Bay Independent Film operating domain
name. The original TampaBayFilm.Com and its site were taken offline last
month, and the domain name is now only going to be used for branding and
marketing, and it will remain offline until we are ready to promote and
market Tampa Bay Film, at which time we will attach the old (original)
TampaBayFilm.Com domain name to this new site. The new Tampa Bay Film
site domain name will also serve double-duty once it is firmly established,
and can also be marketed directly through TampaBayIndependentFilm.Com
. This site is completely new, with original content, and with none of
the old site content or elements used. We also enhanced the design and
the image design templates.
The old Tampa Bay Film sites, of which there were eight, are also offline,
and the two largest, the blog site and the online film festival, have
been enhanced and integrated into the new site. Content from those sites
will be edited and added to before being added to this site, as they have
to be compatible. In early 2014, we plan on spending several months translating
and adding the over 500 pages of blog content from the old Tampa Film
Blog and the Online Film Festival Blog to our new Tampa Bay Film Blog.
Tampa Bay Film has a group of new sites, too, which will not be networked
and interlinked like the old Super Raptor Tampa Bay Film sites were. There
were eight original Tampa Bay Film sites. They have been replaced by a
group of sixteen sites, some of which will be new Revolution Class web
sites like this one, and there will probably be more.
Currently, Tampa Bay Film is barely online, with the bare minimum content
needed, and with many of our features and sections offline. It will take
several months to get the new Tampa Bay Film up to speed, and it will
not be completely operational again until Fall 2013, at the earliest.
In related news, on March 18, the Reverence Film Festival debut was moved
ahead a year, from Fall 2015, to Fall 2014. More will be announced soon.

The branding “Tampa
Bay Film”, “Tampa Bay independent film”, “Florida
Independent Film”, “Tampa Film Revolution”, and the
slogan “The voice of Tampa Bay independent film” are trademarked,
even when not indicated in formats where the “TM” is omitted
for the purposes of art direction and design aesthetics. The “Coffeehouse
Film Festival”, “Reverence Film Festival”, “Sunburn
Film Festival”, “Tampa Bay Film Showcase”, the “Tampa
Bay Film Conference”, “Tampa Bay Film Community”, and
other Tampa Bay Film branding and slogans are also trademarked, as are
the terms “underground film festival” and “online film
festival” pertaining to the Tampa Bay market. They may not be used
without our express written permission, and all rights are reserved.
Records of our claims, creation dates, and ownership history are on file,
and are documented; they cannot be disputed or ignored. Work on Tampa
Bay Film and on our intellectual properties officially began in 2006,
although the origins of our properties go back even further, and Tampa
Bay Film officially launched on January 11, 2007, although this operating
domain name is the third location of our web site, established in 2013,
and it is not the original.
This web site has been designed from scratch to be conflict-hardened and
effective in prosecuting conflicts, engineered from the lessons gleaned
during the conflicts of our early years, which we won. It is designed
to be resistant to being attacked and to fight and eliminate scams and
unethical conduct in the independent film industry. As a Revolution Class
site, it is the first 3rd Generation talent resource site and a late 3rd
Generation web site; both descriptions representing different definitions.
